I was born in a barn and raised by wolves before setting out for the wild world of Catholic school, where I learned to use a fork properly and be pretty neutral about Jesus. It was probably the best anyone could hope for.
I’m now a freelance editor, writer and crafter. That means I’m selling hair samples to the highest bidder.

I just saw your comment on The Bloggess’ site and I wanted to tell you that, not only did you make me laugh my ass off, but you made me feel a hell of a lot better about other stuff, too. My grandfather just died after a short illness, and “he’s in a better place now” was one of the big things people kept saying.
Thanks.
Thanks. People said that when my parents died, too. It never really helps.
